If you have Broadband Internet access via cable from a company like Virgin Media, you may have your PC plugged into a cable modem.  If you want to use this service wirelessly from more than one PC, you can do so by adding a Cable Wireless Router.  An ideal device for this type of Internet access is Netgear's RangeMax Wireless-N Gigabit Router - WNR3500.

The WNR3500 comes with a two-year warrantyIt supports 802.11b,g and draft n standards to offer the fastest and most reliable wireless connections.  It has eight internal smart antennas to maximise performance and range, and offers the highest levels of security and encryption with its double firewall and WiFi Protected Access.

Four Gigabit Ethernet ports allow wired devices to be connected at maximum speed, and installation is simple using the provided CD.  This router is the ideal choice as the centre of a home network, and

will perform brilliantly when used with products such as the ReadyNAS Pro Pioneer Media Server and the Digital Entertainer Elite.

Please note that this particular router connects to your cable modem using an Ethernet connection and cannot be directly connected to an ADSL telephone socket.
