About UPSs

Uninterruptible Power Supplies help to protect computers and other electrical equipment from mains failures and other power problems.  They are installed between the mains supply and the load equipment, and work by keeping a battery charged so that should the power supply fail they can keep the equipment running by providing power from the battery instead.  That's the basics - for more information, please use the links below:
